Kalihiwai Road in Kīlauea has also been reopened.
The Kaua‘i Bus will resume service to Princeville but is unable to service the Hanalei community due to the highway closure.
The Ocean Safety Bureau (OSB) reports that county lifeguards will not be manning lifeguard towers at county beaches for the remainder of the day, due to the inclement weather.
OSB officials remind residents and visitors that a high surf advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. tomorrow, and a brown water advisory has also been posted until further notice.
The island of Kaua’i remains under a flash flood warning until at least 5 p.m. A wind advisory has been posted until 6 p.m.

Kūhi‘ō Highway in the vicinity of mile marker 22.5 in Kīlauea; northbound traffic is being diverted to Kolo Road while southbound traffic is being redirected to Pili Road Kapahi bridge at the Kawaihau and Kahuna road junction will be closed for repairs until at least the middle of next week
One lane of Kūhi‘ō Highway in Lumaha’i is blocked due to a landslide but remains open.

The Kapa‘a refuse transfer station has resumed all services except for green waste collection. Green waste is only being accepted at the Hanapēpē refuse transfer station until further notice.
