Dorothy Carvalho
Dorothy Amaral Carvalho of Lihu‘e died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on April 3, 2012, at the age of 78. She was born in Lihu‘e on June 2, 1933, and retired from the Lihu‘e Sugar Plantation office.
She was preceded in death by her father, John, and brother, Gilbert.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Carvalho; mother, Leonora Shies; sister, Eleanor (Bill) Kennedy; brothers, Charles (Dalia) Amaral and Robert (Jonell) Amaral; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, April 11, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.
Family suggests casual attire.

Mitsuko Kireto
Mitsuko Kireto of Waimea, Kaua‘i died on April 5, 2012, at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 94. Born on Sept. 20, 1917, in Makaweli, Kaua‘i, she was a nurse with Waimea Dispensary.
She is survived by a son, Gordon (Lucille) Kireto of Lihu‘e; a daughter, Lois Kireto of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Matsuko Kobayashi of Honolulu; two grandchildren, Cathy (Ross) Kagawa of Lihu‘e and Lani (Cory) Gokan of Lihu‘e; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, April 13, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel. Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. Service will begin at 10 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary Ltd.
Jeannette Greenlee
Jeannette Greenlee of Princeville, Kaua‘i, died on April 5, 2012, in Honolulu at the age of 98. She was born in Winnipeg, Canada. She was a loving mother, master bridge player and retired nurse.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Neifert, Barbara Germann and Karen Greenlee; sister, Pauline Medwid Brown and two grandchildren.
Private services were held.
