Chloe Ayonon of the Island School Class of 2025 was selected as a midfielder for the 16 Na Wahine National Soccer Team that was in action at the NorCal College Showcase over the weekend. The 16 Na Wahine National Soccer team is made up of an 18-woman roster of elite Native Hawaiian players from the four primary Hawaiian Island. The team was formed to represent the Hawaiian Kingdom on the global soccer stage.

Dillon Ancheta missed out on the andagi (mahalo Puakea golfers for the “we pau, already” treat on Wednesday) from Puakea Grill. Dillon was the Hawai‘i News Now reporter featuring the Kaua‘i High School senior class during a live stream broadcast on Friday morning featuring senior classes from around the state.
