LIHU‘E — Kaua‘i High School swept Waimea High School 5-0 and 5-0 for both the boys and girls fields, and Island School edged out Kapa‘a High School 3-2, and 3-2 on Saturday in Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation tennis matches played at the Waimea High School tennis courts and the Kapa‘a High School tennis courts.
Coming up next for KIF tennis are the state qualifying matches on Thursday and Friday. The girls are scheduled to play from 8 a.m. on Thursday at the Kapa‘a High School tennis courts. The boys will play starting at 8 a.m. at the Kaua‘i High School tennis courts.
During the finals that will play on Friday, all matches will be at the Kaua‘i High School courts.
