Salvador Bisarra, Michelle Panoke, and Heidi Padilla of the Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i accept a donation of 46 pounds of food, and $335 in cash from the Lihu‘e Hongwanji Mission represented by Immediate Past President Carol Valentine, and President Lynn Matsumura on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Hawaii Foodbank Kaua‘i offices and warehouse in Puhi. The Hawai‘i Foodbank Kaua‘i, in partnership with the Kaua‘i Community College announces a community pop up food distribution for March 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Kaua‘i Community College.

Kudos to Larry Feinstein and the Kaua‘i Beer Company crew for hosting the Puppy Happy Hour on Wednesday with the Kaua‘i Humane Society (congratulations, Rebecca Mungall on starting as the KHS Marketing Coordinator!), which is accepting applications for its “Shop and Save Lives” Rummage Sale that is coming on March 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its headquarters just west of the Kipu bypass road. The Kaua‘i Humane Society also announces its Spring Break Critter Camp on March 20 for students in grades one through three, March 21 for students in grades five through eight, and March 22 for students in grades three through five.
