Kaua‘i Community College culinary arts students set out sausage samples for customers on Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, during the Garde Manger sausage and bacon sale at college’s dining facility.

Kudos to the Kaua‘i Community College culinary arts department, including Susu Okada, Marty Amaro, chefs Mark Oyama, Steve Nakata and all those students for “working so hard” to make and sell the many different sausages and bacon, and even the cold smoked salmon that looked like a meal ready-to-eat during the Thursday Garde Manger sale.
