Kaua‘i High School teacher Christina Martiney of the Kaua‘i High School Future Farmers of America chapter, third from right, accepts a $2,000 award from Laurie Ho, president of the Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau, and the Pau Hana Market ‘ohana on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, during the market that is a collaboration between the Kaua‘i County Farm Bureau and Kukui Grove Center. The award will help the Kaua‘i High School FFA, the only FFA chapter on the island, host the state FFA convention from Feb. 29, 2024, through March 2, 2024.

The free Kaua‘i Quilt Show at the Kaua‘i Society of Artists gallery at Kukui Grove Center has only today left to enjoy the many different quilts and the sewn products of the Pop-Up Boutique. You can tell the show is winding down because Lea Ingram said Sue Kanoho are scheduled to announce the People’s Choice winner on Wednesday afternoon.
