Taylor Lani, Crystal Caday-Bargayo, Ka‘iulani Kauahi and even Puff wear mu‘u to work on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, at the Permanently Affordable Living Hawai‘i offices in Anahola Marketplace.

Even Puff, the Permanently Affordable Living Hawai‘i mascot, wore a mu‘umu‘u on Wednesday after Ka‘iulani Kauahi fashioned a piece of cloth into a mu‘u with a tie (need to secure garments for four-legged wearers). Ka‘iulani said the PAL Hawai‘i crew, including Taylor Lani and Crystal Caday-Bargayo, can wear mu‘u through the month of January because the month is Mu‘umu‘u Appreciation Month … have you gotten your pa‘ina tickets, yet?
