LIHU‘E — Lori Ann Cabebe, the Kaua‘i High School PCNC Coordinator, announced a school community council meeting on Dec. 14 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Kaua‘i High School cafeteria.
The meeting is open to the community, and especially for students, parents, guardians, and the school’s faculty and staff. The meeting will give people an opportunity to provide feedback and mana‘o on two items that will be discussed.
The first item is a student proposal to change the uniform school wear policy and school dress code.
Drafted by the women’s empowerment club, the student government and the student body, the non-uniform dress code aims to represent the student body and its concerns regarding discrimination and current issues linked to the current dress code.
The second item on the table is a new bell schedule.
