Kudos to all the many hands and souls that contributed to a mess of Halloween-themed activities like the Trunk or Treat at The Shops at Kukui‘ula, the Halloween Festival and Trunk or Treat event at Kukui Grove Center, and more, ending with the Halloween keiki parades at both the Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital and Wilcox Medical Center … wow, that’s more than a handful of Halloween events!

Alden Pablo (he was a good sub for Coach Beau Acoba during Beau’s trip to the mainland) said Hanapepe’s Biggest Little Carnival will take place this Saturday and Sunday with a bunch of carnival-type activities filling in between t-ball games and Pop Warner tackle football … hmm, flying saucers at the food booth?
Jim Guerber (how was the Rock the Block at the Kaua‘i Beer Company?) said the Kaua‘i Robotics Alliance is hosting a robotics competition on Saturday from around 10:30 a.m. to noon at Wilcox Gymnasium at Island School with about 14 matches, each lasting 2.5 minutes. The free event will feature teams, each with three to eight students, from the middle schools on Kaua‘i.
