Laureta Ganal Ganiron
Laureta Ganal Ganiron passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 107. She was born in Pariir, Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Aug. 25, 1915, and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Fermin Ganiron, parents Ignacio and Eulogia Ganal, and siblings Melquiades Ganal, Celestino Ganal, Francesca Aguilar and Jacinta Ganiron.
She is survived by her sons Felix (Juliana) Ganiron, Jaime (Fresnaida) Ganiron and Teodulo (Pacita) Ganiron, hanai daughter Elena (Manuel) Respicio, grandchildren Fhilamer Joy (Thomas) Kim, Fern (Flaviano Jr.) Reyes, Fae Gwen (Anson) Wooding, Jaime Jeffrey (Alexandra) Ganiron, Jason (Tess) Ganiron, Jayleen (Royden) Ikehara, Ernest (Kimberly) Ganiron, Elmer (Sylvia) Ganiron, Marvin (Arianne) Respicio and Mark (Rhea) Respicio, great-grandchildren TJ Kim, Lauryn Kim, Christian Reyes, Forrest Reyes, Ella Lourdes Ganiron, Tessa Ganiron, Jazmine Ikehara, Jenna Ikehara, Maison Ganiron, Noah Ganiron, Kaylyn Ganiron, Owen Ganiron, Maymay Respicio, Kamaile Respicio, Haven Respicio, Caiden Zeus Respicio, Xander Apollo Respicio and Avery Athena Respicio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life is Saturday, June 3, at the Immaculate Conception Church. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m., with Mass beginning at 10 a.m., and burial to follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home.

Trinidad A. Raval
Trinidad A. Raval, 83, passed away on May 18, 2023. He was born on June 4, 1939, in Laoag, Philippines, and worked for the University of Hawai‘i as an agricultural research technician.
He was preceded in passing by parents Bruno and Isabel Raval and brothers Tony and Johnny Raval.
He is survived by wife Wilma Raval and children Jo Ann and Trini Raval.
A celebration of life is Tuesday, May 30, at the Immaculate Conception Church. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m. and burial will follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home.

Pacita Ringor Melchor
Pacita Ringor Melchor passed away on May 13, 2023 in Lihu‘e at the age of 88.
She was born on March 28, 1935, in the Philippines. She was retired.
She was preceded in death by husband Marcelo Melchor, parents Antonio and Antonia Ringor, brother Emilio Ringor and sister Leonora (Mauro) Valvieja.
She is survived by daughter Elizabeth Ringor of Lihu‘e, two grandchildren, brother Remigio (Villanerva) Ringor of Kapa‘a, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service will be held at the Lihu‘e United Church, 4340 Nawiliwili Road, on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Viewing is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 9:30 a.m. The family requests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.

Davin M. ‘Jabba’ Garcia
Davin M. “Jabba” Garcia, 56, of Hanama‘ulu, passed away on March 9, 2023. He was born in Lihu‘e on Oct. 12, 1966, and worked at Flying Foods Group.
He was preceded in passing by parents Lucas and Lourdes (Nelmida) Garcia.
He is survived by sister Suzanne Kashima, brother Dominic (Sharlene) Garcia, and sons Jordan Garcia, Luke Garcia and Joshua Garcia.
A celebration of life will be held at Niumalu Canoe Club (Kalapaki) on Saturday, June 10, starting at 11 a.m.
