KILAUEA — The state Department of Transportation announced that a single shoulder closure of Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction at Kilauea Stream Bridge, on Tuesday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a routine inspection of the Kilauea Stream bridge.

w A single-lane closure of Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction at the Moloa‘a Stream bridge on Monday, April 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a routine inspection of the bridge.
Kapa‘a
w A single right lane closure on Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction at the highway’s intersection with Kukui Street and Hulu‘ili Street, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for refreshing of crosswalks in the Kukui Street intersection.
Wailua
w A single-lane closure on Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction, in the vicinity of Kapule Highway and Haleilio Road, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from midnight to 4 a.m., for installation of bird diverters on energized transmission lines;
w A right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kuhio Highway are possible in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and the Kapa‘a bypass, for the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements project;
w A single-lane closure on Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction, for guardrail and drainage installation and striping, between mile marker 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Kuamo‘o Road and the Kapa‘a bypass, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.;
w Nightly two-lane closures of Kuhio Highway are possible in either direction, between mile markers 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of Kuamo‘o Road and the Kapa‘a bypass, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for traffic light adjustment as a part of the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements.
Lihu‘e
w A single right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway is possible in the westbound direction, for tree trimming, between mile markers 3 and 4, in the vicinity of Pu‘uana Road and Kipu Road, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.;
w A single right lane closure on Kuhio Highway is possible in either direction in the vicinity of Rice Street and Kaua‘i Beach Drive, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for repairs on damaged guard rails;
w A single right lane closure on Kuhio Highway is possible in the southbound direction, in the vicinity of Kali Road and La‘ukini Road, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., for placement of cable facilities on existing aerial power and telephone poles.
Koloa
w Portions of Koloa will be closed for road resurfacing from Monday, April 24 to May 10, on weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting. Work is scheduled for Ala Kino‘iki on April 24, and work is scheduled for Weliweli Road from April 24 to May 10.
Kalaheo
w A right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway is possible in the eastbound direction for Hawaiian Telcom utility work, between mile marker 10.3 to 11.4, in the vicinity of Hokua Road to Koloa Road, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Ele‘ele
w A single right lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway is possible in the westbound direction, for grass cutting and guardrail clearing, between mile markers 15 and 21, in the vicinity of Mahina‘uli Gulch and Laulea Street, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Waimea
w There will be intermittent lane closures along Menehune Road, approximately 0.5 miles north of the Waimea swinging bridge, Monday through Friday, April 24 to April 28, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for waterline installation work.
