Kalapaki parking lot to close March 28 to 31

    The parking area between the Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort Lihu‘e and Anchor Cove Shopping Center will be closed for resurfacing.

KALAPAKI — The county Department of Public Works and contractor Maui Kupono Builders announced that a Kalapaki parking lot including an area known as the Pine Trees Inn will be closed from Tuesday to Friday, March 28 to 31, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting, for resurfacing work.

The parking area that abuts Anchor Cove Shopping Center and runs along the Kalapaki Bay breakwater will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians during this time. It is utilized by locals and visitors to access the beach, adjacent Nawiliwili Park and restaurants at the Royal Sonesta Kaua‘i Resort Lihu‘e.
