KALIHIWAI — The county Department of Public Works and contractor Maui Kupono Builders announced that portions of Kahiliholo Road and Kamo‘okoa Road in Kalihiwai will be closed Thursday, Jan. 26 to Tuesday, Jan. 31, weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting, for road resurfacing work.

Wailua
w Nightly, two-lane closures of Kuhio Highway are possible in either direction between mile markers 5.9 and 6.6, in the vicinity of the Kapa‘a bypass road and Kuamo‘o Road, from Sunday through Thursday, Jan. 22 to 27, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., for the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements. Two-way traffic will be maintained by contraflow of one northbound lane. A right shoulder closure and narrowed lanes of Kuhio Highway are possible in the southbound direction between mile markers 5.7 and 6.7, in the vicinity of Leho Drive and the Kapa‘a bypass road, for the Kuhio Highway Short-Term Improvements.
Lihu‘e
w A single lane closure on Kaumuali‘i Highway is possible in the southbound direction between mile markers 2.4 to 2.7, in the vicinity of Kipu Road, from Monday through Friday, Jan. 23 to 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for guardrail clearing and grass trimming. Traffic will be contraflowed through the northbound lanes.
Koloa
w Portions of Po‘ipu Road and Pa‘anau Road will be closed from Monday, Jan. 23 to Friday, Feb. 3, weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for improvements to pedestrian access to Koloa School, including road striping and sidewalk improvements.
