LIHU‘E — Hot on the heels of the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association state cross-country races that were held at Island School in Puhi, the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation named the all-stars for cross-country.
LIHU‘E — Hot on the heels of the Hawai‘i High School Athletic Association state cross-country races that were held at Island School in Puhi, the Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation named the all-stars for cross-country.
For the boys, Brennen Corregedore of Kaua‘i High was named KIF boys champion (individualist), followed by Saxon Kimball of Kapa‘a High, Lukas Myers of Island School, Tyler Everett of Kaua‘i High, Kaidyn Yago of Kaua‘i High and Cade Myers of Kaua‘i High.
The Kaua‘i High boys team was also announced the team champion with runners Corregedore, Everett, Cade Myers, Jacob Reese, Yago, Deacon Hawk and Cassius Olson.
Kaua‘i High’s Emma Burgess was named the KIF girls champion, followed by Kamaira Silva and Aileah Villatora, both of Kaua‘i High, Gwyneth Adams of Kapa‘a High, Skylar Stewart of Island School and Shaira “Sabrina” Sanchez of Island School.
The Kaua‘i High girls team was announced the team champion with Burgess, Silva, Villatora, Riley Carl, Savannah Hubbard, Jeanine Longboy and Kianah Racca.
