Jean Souza said the Kaua‘i Ocean Discovery will be offering free grab-and-go ocean learning kits from 11 a.m. Saturday, along with the Princeville and Hanapepe public libraries. Both libraries are open Saturdays!).
Saturday is the first day of the week-long state Department of Education fall break, and also Morgan Lopez’s birthday, where she’ll be joining Ron Wood and the army of walkers raising awareness and fighting Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia (did Lois Andersson of Shioi Construction get her flowers, yet?) at the Kapa‘a Beach Park starting at 8 a.m.
And, don’t forget the ‘Ohana Fit Fest at Princeville (late registration can be done starting at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at the Prince Albert Park (that’s the one near Princeville Public Library).
