Mahalo, Aqua Engineers (David Paul is the new CEO) for doing an amazing job with the water-reclamation process (having the working model of the Puhi Wastewater Treatment Center was definitely an aid along with parking the pumper in plain view of the many students who passed through the station).

Kudos and mahalo, Jackie Manibusan and the Kapa‘a Business Association, on hosting a candidate (there were more than County Council candidates) forum (now we know why Jakki Nelson wasn’t crewing aboard Fast Company at the Thursday sailboat races) that went well past sundown next to The Musubi Truck.
Edie Ignacio Neumiller said the YWCA of Kaua‘i is hosting a County Council candidate forum Oct. 13 and 14 at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall in Lihu‘e, starting at 5 p.m. each day. Watch for your general election ballots in the mail soon.
