Adam Huskey
Adam Huskey passed away on July 25, 2022, in Clearlake, California, at the age of 32.
He is survived by mother Leslie Ferrell, brothers Keith (Jeanne) Grebner and Earl (Kira) Huskey. He lives on in the hearts of niece Mackenzie Grebner and nephews Nathan Grebner and Jax Furugen-Huskey.
In the business of entertaining people with his unique sense of humor and gentle heart, he had countless friends and will be missed by many.
Carlos Lawrence Andrade
Carlos Lawrence Andrade passed away on July 30, 2022, in Kilauea, at the age of 78. He was born on May 29, 1944, in Kilauea. He was a professor, musician and waterman.
He was preceded in death by parents Larry and Angeline Andrade and brother Russell Andrade.
He is survived by wife Maile Andrade, sons Makali‘i Andrade of Anahola and Kaimalino Andrade of Kekaha, daughter Pelika Andrade of Anahola, grandchildren Makali‘i Bertelmann, Ka‘ala Bertelmann, Ho‘oipo Andrade, Kamali‘i Andrade, Hali‘imaile Andrade, Wehi Andrade and Meimei Andrade, brothers W. Pierre Andrade of Washington, Paul Andrade of Wailua and Kimo Andrade of Anahola, and sister Susan Andrade of Wailua.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Brian Martin Andrade
Brian Martin Andrade, 48, of Lawa‘i, passed away at his home on Aug. 10, 2022. He was born on Feb. 28, 1974, in Lihu‘e. He worked as a rancher at Andrade Slaughter House and Cattle Company.
He is survived by parents Manuel “Mac” and Phyllis Andrade, children Cheyenne, Brooklyn and London Andrade, siblings Macky Andrade and Sharleen (Meha) Balmores, grandmother Helen Martin, loving companion Heather Martin, niece Paisley Balmores, nephew Kroix Balmores, and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Private services were held by the family.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Vincent Lopez Jr.
Vincent Lopez Jr. passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 62. He was employed by Akita Enterprises as a bus driver, and previously worked for The Kaua‘i Bus.
He was preceded in death by father Vincent Lopez Sr., sister Stella Lopez, maternal grandparents John C. Reis and Mabel Borges, and paternal grandparents Marcelino Lopez, John Medina and Mary Pavao.
He is survived by mother Marjory Lou Naone, brothers Lyons “Kapio” Naone and Lee “Kaleo” Naone, one nephew, four nieces and one grand-niece, aunts Elizabeth (Wayne) Allianic and Sweetie (Patrick) Lopez, and numerous cousins, co-workers, and friends who miss his phone calls the most.
A service is Saturday, Aug. 20, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo. Visitation starts at 9 a.m., Mass is at 10 a.m., and internment will follow Mass. Feel free to call cousin Petra at 808-346-3517 with questions. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
Robert R. Valencia Sr.
Robert R. Valencia Sr. passed away on July 27, 2022 at Wilcox Medical Center, at the age of 84. He was born on March 12, 1938 in California. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a range programs manager at the U.S. Navy Pacific Missile Range Facility at Barking Sands.
He was preceded in death by wife Emma L. Valencia, son Robert R. Valencia Jr. and parents Raymond and Margarette Valencia.
He is survived by son Ron (Julie) Valencia of Lihu‘e, grandchild Reece R. Valencia, longtime loving companion Makiko Texeira of Kapa‘a, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service is Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Kaua‘i Veterans Cemetery, starting at 11 a.m. The family requests casual attire.

Erica Elizabeth Warner (Rainhart)
Erica Elizabeth Warner (Rainhart), born June 1, 1955, to Ruth Ann and Richard Earl Warner, passed away peacefully Aug. 10, 2022, at the age of 67.
Living in Hawai‘i, she grew up active in ocean sports and competed on her high school swim team. She excelled as a professional holistic massage therapist, and her graphic arts and poetry are widely admired. She designed and created unique art that beautifully expressed her love of nature, her passion for living and her philosophy of life.
She leaves behind sisters Laura Gold and Lisa Brainard, brothers Scott (Stacy) Brainard and Andrew Brainard, nephews Scotty and Nick (Stacy) Brainard and Jason Prohaska, and nieces Jenny-Rebecca (Craig) Tavis and Crystal (Tim) Clay.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother, father, stepfather, sister and nephew.

Lewis ‘Lew’ Andrade
Lewis “Lew” Andrade passed away peacefully at home on July 5, 2022, at the age of 85. He was born on June 14, 1937, in Pa‘ahau, Hawai‘i. He retired as a tax return examiner for the state Department of Taxation Kaua‘i State Tax Office.
He was preceded in death by parents Manuel Andrade and Florence Alfonso, sisters Eunice Andrade, Valerie Pua and Eunice Andrade, and his beloved wife Beatrice Moniz Andrade.
He is survived by daughters Rosemary “Rosie” (Dayle) Andrade Orr and Stephanie Andrade, grandchildren Rosanna (Dave) Vail, Britney (Paul) Taniguchi and Aurielle (Jonathan) Sambueno, great-grandchildren Kairo Sambueno, Kaya Sambueno, Kahalaomapuana Taniguchi and Kolton Taniguchi, sisters Joan Dias Souza and Jessie “Doreen” Anderson, brothers Rio Dotario, Donald (Masako) Dotario, Stanley Dotario, Ronnie (Carol) Dotario and Dennis Andrade, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
