Students lobby for ‘ohi‘a lehua

Hawai‘i Technology Academic students Peyton Fontanilla, Ashlyn Worley, Cedric Crampton-Nabaa, Lilly Corpuz and science teacher Drew Cohick, not in that order, are among the Kaua‘i residents working to get ‘ohi‘a lehua named the state endemic tree of Hawai‘i.

LIHU‘E — Hawai‘i is on the verge of gaining a new state symbol, thanks to the hard work of Kaua‘i middle-school students.
