155 new COVID-19 cases on Kaua‘i Wednesday

LIHU‘E — Today, a mobile vaccine van will be offering vaccines and boosters at the Hanalei Neighborhood Center from 1 to 5 p.m.

The state Department of Health Kaua‘i District Health Office announced 155 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.

This brings the county’s number of active, recorded cases to 544, with 12 hospitalized.

To date, the county has recorded 10,602 cumulative cases.

A free testing site at Kaua‘i War Memorial Conventional Hall in Lihu‘e is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

A testing van will be operating at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until a maximum of 100 test tickets are distributed.

A community vaccine clinic is at Isenberg Park in Lihu‘e on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. Walk-ins are welcome.
