Eric S. Yoro

Eric S. Yoro, 47, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Dec. 21, 2021. He was born in Lihu‘e on July 27, 1974.

He was preceded in death by grandmothers Adelaida Sotelo and Benilda Yoro, grandfather Leandro Yoro and uncle Frankie Yoro.

He is survived by parents Ernesto and Anita Yoro, sister Rowena Yoro, brother Robert Yoro, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Feb. 3, at Immaculate Conception Church in Kapaia. Visitation is at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass 10 a.m. and burial at Lihu‘e Cemetery.

Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Andrew Keoki DeRego Sr.

Andrew Keoki DeRego Sr. passed away on Jan. 23, 2022 at the age of 59 in Kapa‘a.

He was born on June 4, 1962 in Honolulu. He was a tile setter.

He is survived by significant other Rebecca Kolowena Au, sons Andrew Keoki (Crystal) DeRego Jr. of Kapa‘a and Raymond Makana Au of Chicago, daughters Brookes (David) Kahikilani Cavaco of Ewa Beach, O‘ahu, Cheyanne Nohelani (David) Mahuka of Lihu‘e, Madison Kea Key of Wai‘anae, O‘ahu, 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, parents Frank Kolomona DeRego III and Doris Daniels, brothers Frank Kolomona (Lani) DeRego IV of Mililani, O‘ahu, and Daniel Nalei (Pili) DeRego of Laupahoehoe, Hawai‘i Island, sisters Laverne DeRego of Nanakuli, O‘ahu, Francine DeRego of Hilo, Hawai‘i Island and Doris Komomua of Wai‘anae, O‘ahu, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service will be held at Garden Island Mortuary on Sunday, Feb. 20. A walk-thru visitation is from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass. The family requests casual attire and welcomes flowers. Due to COVID-19, face masks and social distancing are required.

Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
