Edward S. Anama

Edward S. Anama 74, of Honolulu, passed away Sept. 18, 2021.

He was preceded in by death parents Macario and Alice Anama and brother Andrew Anama.

He is survived by sister Patricia Morita, brothers Lawrence, Franklin and Richard Anama, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Private family inurnment is Saturday, Dec. 11.

Dennis A. Ikel

Dennis A. Ikel of Hanapepe passed away on Nov. 6, 2021, at the age 76. He was born in North Dakota on Sept. 11, 1945. He was a artist and a U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by parents Alfred and Dorothy Ikel.

He is survived by life partner Iris Mc Gowan, sisters Sharon Ikel and Shelley SanFillippo and brother Dana Ikel.

His celebration of life will be private.

Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.

Elizabeth Y. Ito

Elizabeth Y. Ito, 74, of Kilauea, passed away on Nov. 28, 2021 at Wilcox Medical Center. She was born on Kaua‘i on Sept. 27, 1947, and taught Hawaiian studies for many years before retiring.

She was preceded in death by parents Harold and Nancy Kobayashi.

She is survived by sons Reyland Ito and Jason Ito, siblings Cathy Chang, Glenn Kobayashi, Christine Kobayashi and Joseph Kobayashi, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
