Helen M. Friend
Helen M. Friend, 89, of Lihu‘e, passed away on Sept. 7, 2021, at Regency at Puakea. She was born in South Shields, England, on March 12, 1932. She was a registered nurse and a textile artist.
She was preceded in death by husband Douglas JC Friend, brother George Falconer and sister Mary Falconer.
She is survived by daughter Mary (Dr. T. Binney) Williamson, son John (Jerelyn Watanabe) Friend, sister Margaret “Meg” Falconer, and numerous relatives and friends.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
