Hi5 Specialists Daezsa Tomas-Tamagawa (she still does golf, too!) and Tawna Bensaid took over the ambassador duties on the lunch run.
Chung said customers are really good, too, leaving snacks like Lawai‘a flying saucers (David said they don’t have stuff like that in Honolulu), and other ono grinds.
Kudos to Gregg Pasilio and Mark Cooper of Kaua‘i Skate ‘Ohana, who started work on the Pop-Up Hanapepe skatepark over the weekend! They are so good with the project, it should be completed very soon, so Westside youth and adults can get in some new sporting action.
Who said the Hanapepe Art Night was supposed to start on a “soft opening?” The Bobby’s grills were already extinguished. Maybe next week? In the meantime, Riana Ralston, Daniel Tutop and Malyssa Manera (she’s gotta be related to Carol Texeira) were scoping out an early dinner to the music of the Sunset Swing Band, which hasn’t been seen in public for 17 months!
