Short lane closures for inspection and punch-list completion work will occur from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. along both roads. Expect brief occasional delays at the Koloa Road-Ala Kalanikaumaka intersection for the continued construction and paving of the north side of the roundabout.
Additionally, from June 21 to June 22, Koloa Road will be under full closure from Po‘ipu Road to Ala Kalanikaumaka from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists will be detoured to Lopaka Paipa Boulevard during this closure.
As a reminder, ‘Oma‘o Road is a narrow, residential road that is not intended to be used as a detour route, and not designed for high volumes of traffic or truck traffic. Eastbound motorists from the Westside, Kalaheo and Lawa‘i are encouraged to take Kaumuali‘i Highway to Maluhia Road to access Koloa and Po‘ipu.
