Live webinar on climate change set

LIHU‘E — Learn about the impacts of climate change and brainstorm ideas for local response to those impacts in an online webinar hosted by Charles “Chip” Fletcher, professor of earth sciences at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa on Saturday, May 8, at 9 a.m.

The free webinar begins with a presentation, “The Current State of Climate Science,” which will be followed by a question-and-answer session and local-action breakout sessions.

This event is organized by the Hawai‘i Citizens’ Climate Lobby and Faith Action for Community Equity – Environmental Justice Task Force, which is a collection of environment and climate-oriented organizations including the Kaua‘i Climate Action Coalition and The Nature Conservancy.
