LIHU‘E — Teagan Souza found a hat trick, or scoring three times, and Layson Turner found the net once to lead the Keahi Soccer Club 12 Under Girls to a 4-0 shutout over CAN 12 Under Girls who, despite a concerted second half comeback, could not find the net while holding Keahi scoreless.
That was just one of the games contested in Week 7 of the Kaua‘i Soccer Association games played at the North Vidinha fields under the pandemic health and safety rules that require players to wear face masks when feasible, and no spectators allowed inside the field fenceline.
KSA Week 8 games continue, Saturday with the first matches going off at 9 a.m. at the Vidinha Stadium. There is also an overflow game that feature the older age division that kick off on Tuesday starting at 4 p.m.
