KAPA‘A — Due to electrical issues, trash and loose-mixed-waste disposal at the Kapa‘a Transfer Station is unavailable until further notice. Green waste is also not being accepted due to muddy conditions.
Waste-diversion services are still available, for items including tires, appliances, scrap metal, used motor oil and propane tanks.
Residents and businesses are directed to the Hanalei or Lihu‘e refuse transfer stations.
