How many of you look at this as a math thing? If I were in California I would not care about if that person forgot to pass go at check in without a 72 hours pre-testing flight negative COVID-19 result. Why is this? I have a classmate from high school on Oahu. It works that way because we might come into contact or he is getting off scotland free on board a flight and becoming a world famous superstar in football. While I’m at home watching the TV and UH football on tv. This problem is one of propaganda. Hawai’i is a small populated area. We care about each other. And if each other is watching who is getting famous in the local news. Celebrity wise. A bad thing. He is getting all the publicity. And me, I’m am getting no publicity. This is the so called esoteric trend happening in households all over Hawai’i. And U.S.A. I’d rather be a republican. I have something to shoot for. Than a trophy from my so called peers. This is one situation anyway in Hawai’i. COVID-19 and the issues with it.

Dear Mayor Kawakami – since being elected, you, your family and friends have enriched yourselves by aligning with special interests (GMO, Big Tourism, etc.). And now with Covid, the virus is helping you guys along even more, putting low-income Kauai residents deeper into the hole (and soon in the ground) while you circle around us like vultures just waiting to buy our properties. I don’t know how you sleep at night, but I guess all that money you have tucked away in your offshore accounts helps.

What you are saying is true. If you looked to see what it would cost to stay at timbers for 3 days in January to take advantage of the bubble resort. It’s about $1000 per night, Marriott is about 450-500. Kawakami lives in an echo chamber. He is surrounded by people who stroke his ego and his wife is the gate keeper on social media. If you say anything against him or his policies you will be blocked. Furthering the echo chamber. He was born rich, generational wealth from his family owning big save markets and gained even more when the business sold to times. He’s aligned with grove farm and big ag. While BS-ing the rest who don’t research anything. He has been caught before with questionable ethics. Failure to disclose certain investments in medical marijuana while also being on the council that was voting on the issues regarding the ability to do that business.

If what YOU are saying, @Bingo, is true (and I don’t doubt it), please document this information, share it online and among the local electorate, because Kawakami obviously does NOT have our best interests in mind.

He has been slowly destroying our community for years, and now he is taking full advantage of the virus to put the final nail in all our coffins. He needs to go; we need an honest, ethical and empathetic mayor who came from nothing and is willing to represent those who have nothing.

Skip the Vaccine, prefer natural dependable Health.
