Both island food banks receive collections

Donna Rice of the Kaua‘i Board of Realtors, center, drops off the pickup from the Princeville fire station to Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank’s Rizalde Tolentino and Kelvin Moniz Friday at the KIFB Nawiliwili warehouse. The Princeville pickup totaled 16 pounds of food and adds to the 118 pounds collected from the fire stations in September as part of the KBR food drive.

NAWILIWILI — The Kaua‘i Independent Food Bank took a day off from distributing food, and instead welcomed people donating food to help with relief efforts during this COVID-19 time of need.
