Hawaiian Air says aloha to change fees

HONOLULU — Guests traveling on Hawaiian Air between Hawai‘i and the mainland, international destinations or within the islands can now reschedule flights without change fees.

Hawaiian has been waiving change fees for travelers who need to postpone trips due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and are now extending the benefit to all travelers.

“We know our guests’ plans change for a variety of reasons, and we want them to book a flight with confidence and the flexibility to travel when they are ready to take that special Hawai‘i vacation, visit friends and relatives or do business on our neighbor islands,” said Hawaiian President and CEO Peter Ingram in a press release.

Effective Thursday, change fees have been eliminated for travelers who purchase tickets or redeem HawaiianMiles for Main Cabin, Extra Comfort or First/Premium Cabin class seats.
