LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i Police Department announced the cancellation of its K-PAL (Kaua‘i Police Activities League) flag-football season that was slated to begin this summer.
The cancellation is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is an effort to continue to maintain the health of the community.
“It is unknown at this time when K-PAL activities will resume, but we look forward to when that time arrives because we will welcome our keiki back with open arms,” said KPD Capt. Mark Ozaki.
“In the meantime, we hope our families remain safe and healthy, and keep practicing physical distancing by staying home as much as possible. That way, we can get back to enjoying our regular activities sooner rather than later.”
