A whole network of volunteers help with makeup and hairstyles, fancy-dress clothing, topping off the works with a tiara or crown
Night to Shine events are held at the same date all across the world, with Kauai’s gala orchestrated by Vaughn Beyer and her team. It is open to those who would like to help.
“This is the party to top all parties” said the Rev. Rick Bundschuh of Kauai Christian Fellowship.
“Where else can you spend the evening with food, friends, dancing and music, all the while making a bunch of young people who are often walked by or ignored feel like royalty for a night?”
