PRINCEVILLE The Princeville Resort held an employee food drive over the holidays and raised 1,577 pounds. The drive also received a $500 boost from East West Partners, which was used to purchase more food items.
PRINCEVILLE — The Princeville Resort held an employee food drive over the holidays and raised 1,577 pounds. The drive also received a $500 boost from East West Partners, which was used to purchase more food items.
“The Hawaii Foodbank Kauai would like the employees from the Princeville Resort to know that we are touched by their conscientious choice to help others in need,” wrote Wes Perreira, director of the Hawaii Foodbank Kauai branch.
“We are grateful for donations like these, as they enable us to serve the 13,000 island residents who utilize the services of the food bank. We hope the New Year will bring hope and better days to all that we serve.”
