Permanently Affordable Living Kauai receives $5k

LIHUE — ‘Tis the season for giving, and Title Guaranty is doing just that by donating a total of $25,000 to Hawaii nonprofits.

PAL Kauai (Permanently Affordable Living Kauai), Maui Food Bank, and The Big Island Giving Tree will receive $5,000 each.

For this holiday season, Title Guaranty wanted to do things differently by launching the Kuleana Gift Campaign, partnering with clients in giving donations to charities of their choice.

Clients, real estate agents and the general public were invited to vote online for their charity of choice for the donation to go to. Votes were tallied and charities on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Big Island were selected. Checks will be presented to all four charities prior to Christmas.

“We at Title Guaranty feel very fortunate to be able to partner with our clients, friends, and community at large to give back to our community in this way. We are happy to help Make-A-Wish Hawaii, The Big Island Giving Tree, Maui Food Bank and PAL Kauai in furthering their missions and making Hawai’i a better place,” said Mike B. Pietsch, president and COO of Title Guaranty.
