Timotea Guillermo Obiano
Timotea Guillermo Obiano, 80, of Kapaa, passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Oct. 18, 2019. She was born in Flores, San Manuel, Pangasinan, Philippines on Jan. 24, 1939, and retired as a cook with Kountry Kitchen.
Preceded in death by her siblings, Dorotea Orpia, Benjamin Guillermo, Primitivo “Eniong” Guillermo, Rosa Frias, Merlita Guillermo, Juanita Ramirez.
Timotea is survived by her husband Benito Lomboy Obiano; 3 children, Jesus “Jessie” (Juanita) Obiano of Kapaa, Josephine (Benny) Baris of Lihue, Eduardino “Eddie” (Lourdes) Obiano of Kapaa; 7 grandchildren, Brandon O. Baris of Oahu, Bradford O. Baris of Oahu, Benedick O. Baris of Lihue, Archer (Edna Lyn Acosta) Obiano of Kapaa, Aldrich Obiano of Washington, Andrew Obiano of Oahu Jonathan Obiano of Kapaa; 1 great-grandchild Zion Obiano of Kapaa; brothers, Alberto Guillermo of Kapaa, Petronilo Guillermo of the Philippines; sister-in-law Beatriz “Naty” Obiano Garcia of Kealia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at St. Catherine Church with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Catherine Cemetery at Kealia.

Lois Marie Rita Palacio
Lois Marie Rita Palacio passed away on Nov. 13, 2019, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was born on Aug. 2, 1962, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. She was the operations manager at Paradise Beverages.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edmund and Sophie Rita.
She is survived by her husband Vincent R. Palacio of Kalaheo; step-sons, C.J (Jessa) Palacio of Koloa, John-Vincent (Mariah) Palacio of Gig Harbor, Washington; step-daughters, Sunshine Kuhlmann (Nick) of Eleele, Maile (Abe) Palacio of Waimea, Janis (Philip) of Kekaha; grandchildren, Kylie Kuhlmann, Shandalyn Kuhlmann, Chance Kuhlmann, Kaleb Libre-Palacio, Alohilani Libre-Palacio, Kekai Morimoto, TeMoana Apiliado, Teoni Wells Palacio, Kawena Wells-Palacio, Kirra Yoshioka, Olivia Kali, Sophia Kali, Keoni Palacio, and Sonny Palacio; great-grandson Tavis Igne; brothers, Greg (Amy) Rita of Kalaheo, Lloyd (Fran) Rita of Kalaheo; nieces, Raquel Rita, Amanda Rita of Kalaheo; nephew Garrett Rita of Iowa; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held on Dec. 7, 2019, at The Latter-day Saints Church in Kalaheo Ward with visitation at 9 to 11 a.m. and servcies at 11 a.m. A burial will be held at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. Family suggests aloha attire.
Ronald “Ghandi” Uyesono
Ronald “Ghandi” Uyesono passed away on Nov. 9, 2019, in Lihue, at the age of 72. He was born on March 20, 1947, in Lihue. He was in the wholesale food industry, most recently in inventory at Y. Hata.
He is preceded in death by his parents Hideo and Ayako Uyesono.
He is survived by his wife Francine Uyesono; sons, Ian Uyesono of Lihue, Cory Uyesono of Las Vegas; daughters, Wendy (Jason Luke) Uyesono of Wailua, Laci Uyesono of Lihue; grandchildren, Easton Uyesono Luke; sister Annette (Duane) Ting of Maui; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Dec. 7, 2019, at the Lihue Hong Wanji Mission with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. Family requests casual attire with lunch to follow.

Magdalina C. Honjo
Magdalina C. Honjo passed away on Nov. 11, 2019, in Lihue. She was born on Aug. 20, 1934, in Hawi, Hawaii. She was a cashier.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter Honjo; parents Placido and Alejandra Cabacungan; sisters, Rosita Ujano, Rosalina Tabura, Leonora Vidinha; brothers, Lorito Pascual and Lodrigo Cabacungan.
She is survived by her sons, Roy Honjo of Honolulu, Randall Honjo of Kalaheo, Roger (Melanie) Honjo of Kalaheo; daughters, Renette (Gary) Gaspar of Honolulu, Allison Pettersson Honolulu, Beverylynn (Don) Keogh of Souix Falls; grandchildren, Ross, Jason, Lora, Kimberlee, Devon, Bryson, Keviclyn (Honjo) Brandy Thomley, Kassandra Perez, Shaylise Nacarato, Crandall, Corey and Caitlin Gaspar, and Daniel, Georgialynn DeGracia; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Abelardo Cabacungan of Carlsbad, CA; sisters, Mary Leong of Los Angeles, CA, Violet Aceret of Hanapepe; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Nov. 30, 2019, at Holy Cross Church. Visitation will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. and mass at 10 a.m. Aloha attire is requested.

In Loving Memory of Susan (Sue) Dianne Mahelona. Born on Dec. 15, 1947. Passed away on Nov. 17, 2019.
Loved wife of John Mahelona, and dearly loved mother of Erik, Aaron, Nalani, and Keoni. Loved grandma to her mo‘opuna Lehua and Pono.
A celebration of Sue’s life will be held 10 a.m. to noon, Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Ko‘olau Hui‘ia Protestant Church, Kealia Road, Anahola. The visitation will be from 10 a.m. and the service will start at 11 a.m. The service will include a welcome from the ‘ohana including remembrances and prayers from loved ones and friends. A reception will follow the service.
Sue was a hard-working person who provided for her family and friends. She was the owner and manager of Sue’s Taxi for nearly 30 years, a well-known family business on Kaua‘i. Sue was kind and always put the needs of others before her own. She will be terribly missed.

Felisa (Tango) Natividad passed away on Nov. 17, 2019, at KVMH, Waimea at the age of 87. She was born on Jan. 8, 1932, in Mana. She was a housewife.
She is preceded in death by husband Lawrence Patrick Natividad, Sr.; son Jesse Natividad; grandson Leonard Castillo; parents Placido and Hertrudes Tango; sister Dolly Furtado-Mayo; father-in-law Patricio Natividad; mother-in-law Caroline Medina; in-laws Jimmy and Sarah Villaros.
She is survived by sons, Lawrence P. Natividad, Jr. (Novella) of Waimea, Anthony Natividad (Minnie) of Kekaha, Timothy Natividad of Waimea; daughters, Patricia Girlie Castillo (Terrance) of Waimea, Sharon Lani Fernandez (Ira) of Waimea; grandchildren, Drake K. William K. “Sonny” Wai‘ale‘ale III passed away on Nov. 18, 2019, in Lihue, at the age of 78. He was born on June 27, 1941, in Koloa. He worked for Roberts Hawaii Tours & also self-employed with Wai‘ale‘ale Boat Tours.
He was preceded in death by William K. Wai‘ale‘ale II, Dorothy V. Medeiros Schorzman and Linda Ann Wai‘ale‘ale.
He is survived by sons, Troy Wai‘ale‘ale (Sharon Snuggs) of Lihue, Dane Dabis Wai‘ale‘ale (Terence) of Kekaha, Cory Wai‘ale‘ale of Lawai; daughter Jade Wai‘ale‘ale Battad (Poki); grandchildren, Tara, Tierny (Chris), Teagan (Makana), Tori (Brandon), Tristin and Tyli; great-grandchildren, Tavis, Tariq, Tazin, Tate and Tiye; brother Lani Schorzman (Mary) of Odessa, Washington; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
