Antonia Medeiros Robley

Antonia Medieros Robley, 97, of Kalaheo, passed away at Wilcox Medical Center on Nov. 11, 2019. She was born in Makaweli on July 2, 1922, and was a dedicated homemaker.

She was preceded in death by husband Philip, son Robert Stanley, father John Medeiros, mother Dominga Orsatelli Medeiros, stepmother Gomecinda Medeiros, brothers Joseph and Philip Medeiros, and sisters Shandra Hernandez and Mercy Souza.

She is survived by sons Philip (Janice), John (Lois) and Melvin (Rosie), daughters Marjorie (Gordon) Arakaki and Carol Robley, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Holy Cross Church, with visitation at 9 a.m. and Mass celebrated and 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Kauai Memorial Gardens &Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lois Marie Rita Palacio

Lois Marie Rita Palacio passed away on Nov. 13, 2019 at Wilcox Medical Center.

She was born on Aug. 2, 1962 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital.

She was the operations manager at Paradise Beverages.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edmund and Sophie Rita.

She is survived by husband Vincent R. Palacio of Kalaheo, sons C.J. (Jessa) Palacio of Koloa and John-Vincent (Mariah) Palacio of Gig Harbor, Washington, daughters Sunshine (Nick) Kuhlmann of Eleele, Maile (Abe) Palacio of Waimea, and Janis (Philip) of Kekaha, grandchildren Kylie Kuhlmann, Shandalyn Kuhlmann, Chance Kuhlmann, Kaleb Libre-Palacio, Alohilani Libre-Palacio, Kekai Morimoto, TeMoana Apilado, Teoni Wells Palacio, Kawena Wells-Palacio, Kirra Yoshioka, Olivia Kali, Sophia Kali, Keoni Palacio and Sonny Palacio, brothers Greg (Amy) Rita of Kalaheo, Lloyd (Fran) Rita of Kalaheo, nieces Raquel Rita and Amanda Rita of Kalaheo, nephew Garrett Rita of Iowa, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Kalaheo Ward.

Burial will be held at Kauai Veterans Cemetery.

The family suggests aloha attire.

    Being divorced from my ex I am truly sorry for the loss of his 2nd wife Lois Rita but it was uncomfortable to read my children were listed as her children and not as step-children It would have been nice if they would have asked me if it was ok.
