Kauai High on lockdown due to threat

Kauai High School is on a lockdown due to an alleged threat to the campus.

The Kauai High School Administration was made aware at 12:45 p.m. of the alleged threat and police have been contacted.

“The safety of your child is of utmost importance and a security plan has been initiated out of an abundance of caution,” according to a statement from Bill Arakaki, Kauai Complex Area Superintendent. “We ask that parents and guardians do not report to campus until an all clear is given.”
