KILAUEA — The Kilauea Neighborhood Association is partnering with Aina Ho‘okupu o Kilauea to conduct a public survey that could shape the community’s future.
The survey is designed to create understanding and find solutions to address housing needs.
Kilauea residents are invited to complete the five-minute survey at www.kilaueasurvey.com. Hard copies of the survey are available at Kilauea Bakery and North Shore Pharmacy.
The survey also includes questions about transportation and wastewater treatment, “two issues indelibly linked to the housing challenges faced by the community,” according to a press release.
“We really appreciate the willingness of our community members to take a few minutes and share their mana‘o with us,” said Yoshito L’Hote, president of the Kilauea Neighborhood Assocation and executive director of Ana Ho‘okupu o Kilauea. “Everyone’s input is valuable and will help us determine how best to advocate for the needs of our community moving forward.”
