The Hawaii International Film Festival kicked off this past Friday with the 22nd annual HIFF Spring Showcase. There are five South Korean films this year as part of the fest. The festival will run until the April 14.
‘The Fiery Priest’
Episodes 21 and 22; 23 and 24 (Sun.)
Today, 6:45 p.m.: Father Kim sports a woman’s outfit as a disguise, to investigate Father Lee’s case with Dae Young. Father Kim comes across a piece of intel saying someone is destined to die that night, turning him into a hero who’s sets out to protect the city of Gudam.
Today, 7:45 p.m.: Who is the mysterious man Father Kim is faced against? Seeing him brings back horrid memory that he tried so hard to erase. On the other hand, Dae Young gets beaten to a pulp by Seung Ah and sets out to find Cheol Bum and his gang.
Episodes 21 and 22 (Mon.); 23 and 24 (Tues.)
Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Prince Lee Geum faces expulsion from his post for witnessing a girl who killed a Noble and hiding it. Jang Dal and Ah Bong find the inspectors planning to raid the Murder the master children’s headquarters. The inspectors are given orders to kill anyone that may get in the way.
Tuesday, 7:45 p.m.: Moon Soo seeks even a small case as an opportunity to gain power within the Saheonbu. Yeo Ji is confused by the event that occurred with Prince Lee Geum. Moon Soo urges the other rookie inspectors to stay strong and cooperate with him to one day reform the court.
Episodes 9 and 10 (Wed.); 11 and 12 (Thur.)
Wednesday, 7:45 p.m: Seok Joo sneaks into a hospital for rare disease during his first mission with the Sunday Syndicate. Soo Hyun uses Se Eun’s possible heart transplant as a way to have Seok Joo under her control until he is no longer useful.
Thursday, 7:45 p.m: To prove that actor Baek Eun Ho is faking his injury, Seok Joo is ordered to take a picture of Eun Ho walking just fine. Soo Hyun digs deep to find dirt on Baek Eun Ho. Multiple hidden truths are revealed during Baek Eun Ho’s press conference.
Episodes 49 and 50 (Fri.); Episodes 51 and 52 (Sat.)
Friday, 7:45 p.m: Madam Jeong’s words bring back a memory that shocks Song Joo. Madam Jeong introduces Chi Yoo at the company event. Song Joo seeks out Sam Sook, making sure there are no loose ends. She remembers the note she left in Chi Yoo’s handbag.
Saturday, 7:45 p.m: Chi Yoo remembers the day she went missing and asks Song Joo if she threw away the clothes on purpose. Song Joo bribes all people involved to cover her tracks and starts to scheme again. Chi Yoo bonds with her grandmother and tries make up for lost time.
