Red Raider soccer boys beat Menehune 3-1

LIHUE — Kauai High School’s varsity boys soccer team defeated Waimea High School, 3-1, Wednesday evening at Vidinha Stadium.

Kyson Ikehara, Whitney Lugo and Dodger Middlebrook each scored for the Red Raiders. Chaisen Ragragola-Palacio scored for the Menehune.

The Kauai Interscholastic Federation boys soccer season ends Saturday. Kauai (4-5-2 KIF, 14 points) will play against Kapaa High School (8-1-1 KIF, 25 points) at 11:45 a.m. at Vidinha Stadium. A junior varsity match between the schools is scheduled for 10 a.m.

Waimea (1-7-2 KIF, 5 points) will play at Island School (3-3-5 KIF, 14 points) at 10 a.m. Saturday in Puhi.
