LIHUE — Possible traffic delays on Kuhio Highway are happening today in the vicinity of Kauai Beach Drive at the Aqua Kauai Beach Resort near Hanamaulu, from approximately noon to 1 p.m., according to the Kauai Police Department.
LIHUE — Possible traffic delays on Kuhio Highway are happening today in the vicinity of Kauai Beach Drive at the Aqua Kauai Beach Resort near Hanamaulu, from approximately noon to 1 p.m., according to the Kauai Police Department.
Traffic safety officers will be facilitating traffic flow for motorists leaving an event hosted by the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, and KPD is advising motorists of partial lane closures as a result.
To facilitate traffic flow, police will close a portion of the outer northbound lane of Kuhio Highway, just south of Kauai Beach Drive, and will leave one northbound lane open. For southbound traffic, a traffic safety vehicle will be placed prior to Kauai Beach Drive to caution drivers to slow down.
Motorists are advised to drive with extreme caution through the area, and to anticipate possible traffic delays during the above-mentioned times.
