Patricia ‘PJ’ Isoshima
Patricia “PJ” Isoshima, 57, of Waimea, passed away on Nov. 25, 2018, at her home.
Born on Nov. 20, 1961, in Mooresboro, North Carolina, she was a cook.
She was preceded in death by daughter Darci Isoshima, mother Eunice Sawako Nagel, father Benjamin Hoyle Dobbins, and brother Thomas Kagimoto.
She is survived by husband Mark Isoshima Sr. of Waimea, sons Mark Isoshima Jr. of Honolulu and Allen Isoshima of Waimea, brother Benjamin Dobbins Jr. of California, sisters Pamela Dobbins of Honolulu, Libby (Tomas) Sales of Hilo and Margaret “Maka” (Mark) Dobbins of Kona, and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Dec. 15, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 9 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted..

Elsie Signe Morefield
Elsie Signe Morefield passed away on Oct. 21, 2016.
She was secretary at the law firm Bogle & Gates in Seattle.
She was preceded in death by father Sigfred Robert Carlson and brother Sigfred Robert Carlson Jr.
She is survived by husband Keith Lloyed of Sayward, British Columbia, Canada, son Scott Jensen and daughter Melinda, both of Seattle, mother Jane Tamae Carlson of Kauai, brother Sidney R. Carlson of Washington state, and sister Sylvia R. Carlson of Missouri.
A celebration of life was held on Kauai and officiated by the Rev. Mieko Majima of the Kapaa Hongwanji Mission.
Esther Sachiko Yamaguchi
Esther Sachiko Yamaguchi, 82, of Lihue, passed away on Oct. 19, 2018, at her home.
Born on Jan. 5, 1936 on Kauai, she was a registered nurse at Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by husband Shigeto Yamaguchi, son Kurt Yamaguchi, brother Satoru Kudaishi and sister Aiko Kudaishi.
She is survived by son Duane (Cindy) Yamaguchi of Mililani, daughters Wendy (Milton Koga) Yamaguchi of Lihue, Candice (Fred) Pascual of Koloa, grandchildren Leslie Koga, Samantha Koga, Cal Koga, Caycie Pascual, Ally Pascual and Dustin Yamaguchi, great-grandchildren Keahi and Kanoe Saiki, sister Harumi (Bob) Kubo, sister-in-law Jean Kudaishi, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 16, at Garden Island Mortuary chapel in Lawai from 2 p.m., where services will be celebrated at 3 p.m.
