Pablo-Otoman, Murata named KIF bowling POYs

The top six boys and girls bowlers with the highest season averages were named Kauai Interscholastic Federation bowling all-stars.

The 12 bowlers named were required to play at least nine games during the KIF season. The list of standouts was released by the league late Tuesday.

For the boys, Waimea High School sophomore Deiton Pablo-Otoman was the league’s Player of the Year with an average of 201.556.

Kapaa High School freshman Callum Meredith was second with 200.889. Kauai High freshman Shayden Peralta was third with 197.

Kapaa junior Kalani Young was fourth with 196.778. Kauai senior Alvin Reis was fifth with 193.222. Waimea sophomore Roman Hill was sixth with 187.333.

Kapaa sophomore Dana Murata was the KIF girls Player of the Year with an average of 205.333.

Kauai High senior Krysten Padasdao was second with an average of 166. Kauai sophomore Taylor Kusaka was third with 162.111.

Kapaa senior Jennilynne Medina was fourth with 159.667. Kauai sophomore K Sommer Luis was fifth with 154.444. Waimea sophomore Crystal Kamakea was sixth with 152.222.
