Lihue Public Library summer used book sale opens, Friday

LIHUE — The Friends of the Lihue Public Library summer used book sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. A special Sunday outing has the books selling from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“This is more fun than shopping on Amazon,” said Jim Jung, a board member of the Lihue Friends.

Books of all types, paperback and hard, in a variety of titles and subject matter will be available in the library’s conference room. CCDs, DVDs, and videos are also available.

Proceeds support some the library.
