I’m not sure what we are supposed to be surprised at here? Did anyone think the lava was going to just visit for a few days and then stop? This isn’t Aunt Flow. This could last years! That whole area could be completely covered, forever. Unfortunate situation for anyone living there, but come on now, it’s the Big Island.
At least now they know how Hawaiians feel when losing their nation and lands to others who do not belong here!
