Ludevico ‘Jackie’ Pigao
Ludevico “Jackie” Pigao, 81 years old of Eleele, Kauai, passed away on Feb. 12, 2018, at his home in Eleele. He was born on Jan. 13, 1937, in Hanapepe, Kauai, he was a Lieutenant ARFF Fire fighter and served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his soul mate, JoAnne Salazar; grandmothjer, Jiji Inosuke Tsuji; grandfather, Baba Sina Tsuji; father, Jose Pigao Sr.; mother, Alice Matsue Pigao; sister-in-law, Joanne Parages Pigao; brother-in-law, MacArthur DelaCruz.
He is survived by his sons, Rick (Melissa) Salazar of WA, Raymond (Lahea) Salazar of Koloa; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jose (Rosie) Pigao of Eleele, Donald Pigao of Kekaha, Ronnie Pigao of CA; sisters, Rosita (Jerry) Sakamoto of Waimea, Big Island, Hawaii, Linda DelaCruz of Kekaha, Gail (Wayne “Buddie”) Ayudan of Kekaha, Jennie Fe (Rommel) Manansala of Honolulu; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Cemetery maintenance shed from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
Inurnment to follow.
Casual attire requested and omit flowers.

Kelly James Kunio Francisco, 46 years old of Waimea, Kauai, passed away on March 9, 2018, in Waimea, Kauai. He was born on June 14, 1971, he was a Mason.
He is survived by his sons, Kelson-Jay Francisco of Waimea, Kauai, Tayedyn Francisco of Kalaheo; daughters, Karilynn “Keiko” Francisco of Waimea, Kauai, Naomi Francisco of Waimea, Kauai; brothers, Calvin (Sharon) Francisco of Wailua, Kauai; sisters, Colleen Francisco of Colorado Faith (Darrell) Dadin of Hanamaulu, Kauai; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held on April 21, 2018, at Lydgate Small Pavillion from 10 to 10:45 a.m. with celebration of life at 11 a.m.
Casual attire requested.

Feladis ‘Val’ Villanueva
Feladis “Val” Villanueva, of Kapaa, passed away in Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 10, 2018, at the age of 87. He was born in Hanalei, Kauai, on May 3, 1930. A veteran of the United States Army, Korean War, and recipient of a Purple Heart medal. Affectionately known as “Slugger,” he resided on Oahu for nearly 50 years. He retired from real estate sales and moved to Kauai in 1997.
Preceded in death by his parents, Felix Villanueva and Maria Pablo; brothers, Alberto, Peren and Hiraldo.
Val is survived by his wife, Anastacia “Ann” Villanueva; 8 children, Stephen Villanueva, Susan (Randy) Oshita, Matthew Villanueva, Valerie (Matthew) Murphy, Christine (John) Wilcox, Lisa (Arthur Betos) Villanueva, Roman Villanueva, Stacey (Brian) Sweeney; 17 grandchildren, Ray Adam, Joseph, Bryson, Jenesis, Natalie, Brooke, Dustin, Austin, Keith, Jessica, Micah, Kierstyn, Malia, Mitchell, Tabitha, Samantha, Blake; 11 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Braydan, Kaylen, Amber, Cheydan, Cruz, Lana, Bronx, Nova, Rider-Lei, Ease; brother, William (Lolita) Villanueva; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Val was a devout member of St. Catherine parish, Kapaa. He was an avid Lector and he also volunteered with the church food pantry.
His favorite pastimes were playing cards, fishing, going to the movies and socializing with friends. Like many of his buddies, he enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at St. Catherine church with viewing from 8 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery.

Juanita Amoroso Agu, 83 years old of Kaneohe, Oahu, passed away on March 3, 2018, at Aloha Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Koloa, Kauai, on May 15, 1934, and was retired from PMRF as a Gas Station Attendant.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tiburcio Agu; parents, Vincente and Marcela Amoroso; brother, Frank Amorozo; brother-in-laws, Eduardo Malapit and Larry Phillips.
She is survived by her daughter, Renita (Keith) Yoshikawa of Kailua, Oahu; sons, Vernon Agu of Oklahoma City, Dominic (Wendy) Agu of Hanapepe, Kauai, Benedict (Jackie) Agu of Eleele, Kauai; brother, William (Mitronia) Amoroso of Oahu; sisters, Elizabeth Malapit of Kauai, Rose Phillips of California; sister-in-law, Carol Amorozo of Oahu; grandchildren, Vincent (Becky Haines) Hill, Ryan (Clente) Takiguchi, Robert (Amnesty Taylor) Agu, Kevin Agu, Bransen Agu, Bristy-Ann Briggs and Brycen Agu; step-grandchildren, Sky (Kimo) Sakata, Carin Yoshikawa, Shawn Arrisgado; Great Grandchildren, Aiyden, Ivy Malia Agu-Hill, Camden, Aiden and Quinn Takiguchi; Step-Great-Grandchildren, Brooke and Hunter Sakata, Nykki Takaki; numerous nieces and nephews.

Captain Stephen “Kent” Crosby, 70 years old of Lawai, Kauai, passed away on Feb. 28, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born on Feb. 10, 1948, in Little Rock, Arkansas, he was a retired Senior adult probation officer & The U.S. Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John T. (Helen) Crosby; brother, Stan Crosby all of Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Camellia Ditch-Crosby of Lawai; step-son, Stanley (Lydia) K. Leon Padilla Nacapuy, 81 years old of Waimea, Kauai, passed away on March 24, 2018, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 2, 1936, in Lanao Bongio, Lanao Bangui, Philippines, he was a retired Drip Irrigator for Kekaha Sugar Company.
He is preceded in death by father, Pantaleon Nacapuy; mother, Generosa Nacapuy; brother, Angel Nacapuy; daughter, Leoriza Nacapuy.
He is survived by his wife, Rizalina “Saling” Nacapuy of Waimea, Kauai; sons, Ernesto (Annie Fe) Nacapuy of Kauai, Leonilo (Loida) Nacapuy of Honolulu, Oahu; daughters, Delia (Roger) Pillos of Kauai, Belinda (Maurice) Pancho of Kauai, Joann (Glenn Agtunong) Nacapuy of Kauai; grandchildren, Ernest Joey, Cassandra Nacapuy, Roger, Jay, Chad Pillos, Jonathan, Jennifer Pancho, Christine Galang, Catherine Nacapuy, Galen Agtunong; great-grandchildren, Colin, Jonah, Chaysen Nacapuy, Kaezlyn Batis, Thaireef, Mason Pillos, Kaeden Pancho-Silva, Lily SungWoo; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brandon Pagala, 33 years old, passed away on March 28, 2018. He was born on Sept. 4, 1984.
He is preceded in death by father, Jose Pagala Sr., grandparents, paternal grandparents, Roman and Anacleta Pagala; maternal grandfather, Marcelo Halog Sr.

Elizabeth Ann (Rapozo) Oyamot, of Makaweli, passed away on March 5, 2018, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, Lihue, Kauai at the age of 82. She was born on Sept. 27, 1935, in Hanamaulu, Kauai. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Severino “German” Oyamot; parents, Daniel Rapozo and Roseline Silva Malaia Rapozo Rodrigues; daughter-in-law, Helena Yadao Oyamot; hanai sons, Charles “Eddie” Fu and William “Billy” Keale.

Benidict ‘BJ’ Hughes Navor Gaitos
Benidict “BJ” Hughes Navor Gaitos, went to the Kingdom of his Heavenly Father after a long battle with AML leukemia, on April 1, 2018, at Wilcox Hospital. He was born on July 9, 1990, and was a drywall construction worker with the company Shioi. He was also a member of the Hawaii Army National Guard.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandpa, Benidicto Gaitos II.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Kelsi Ogata; son, Zaikea Gaitos; daughter, Kaydence Gaitos; mother, Virgie Navor (Dean Wakuta); father, Ben Ferdinand Navalta Gaitos III; brother, Hollywood (Nadia) Aquias; sister, Krystal-Carrie “KC” (Kylie) Gaitos; maternal grandparents, Ricardo and Adelina Navor; paternal grandma, Celerina Navalta Herrman of the Philippines; aunties, Marlene Reyes, Norma (Clifford) Mission, Maile (Lester) Tugade, Catharina (Fray) Belasco of the Philippines; uncles, Ricardo Navor Jr., Ridel (Jane) Navor, Emiliano (Juanit) Gaetos of the Philippines, Ben (Patricia) Geron of Germany; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. A burial will follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial.
There will be a luncheon to follow at Nawiliwili Beach Park, Kalapaki.
