LIHUE — Enterprise Holdings recently awarded the Visitor Aloha Society of Kauai $1,000 for its work in aiding visitors who are victims of crime while staying on the island of Kauai.
“We are thankful for the award,” said Daphne Therese, the VASK executive director. “In addition to helping visitors who become victims of crime, the Visitor Aloha Society of Kauai also helps visitors who are facing adversity while on the island. Our most common problem is helping people who need to travel after losing their passport (usually through theft of their personal property). We also provide resources for those victims.”
Enterprise Holdings, comprised of employees of Enterprise, Alamo, and National car rental services, made the presentation Monday afternoon following its presentation of more than $60,000 to the Kauai United Way.
