Ludicke aces Hokuala 17 - The Garden Island

LIHUE — Rob Ludicke carded a hole-in-one on the Hokuala Ocean Course No. 17 on Jan. 2.

“He’s a superstar,” Jackie Ludicke said. “The ball hit the green and rolled right in. Wow, amazing!”

The Miami Shores, Florida, man used a Callaway 5 iron to crank his ball off the blue tee for the 173-yard ace on the par 3 hole.

“This is my first hole-in-one,” said Rob, a 23-year golfer. “I used a Callaway 5 over the lake into a 15-mph wind. The ball landed on the green and rolled into the hole.”
