Police seek help finding man
LIHUE — The Kauai Police Department is asking for help in identifying a man regarding an incident that occurred on July 31.
Police allege the man entered the NAPA Auto Parts store on Kipuni Way in Kapaa about 1:30 p.m., where store personnel observed him take a jumper pack from the store and walk out without paying.
Store personnel approached the man in an attempt to retrieve the jumper pack. The man allegedly threatened them and fled on foot, leaving the pack behind.
Anyone with information about this individual is urged to contact police at 241-1711. Those wanting to remain anonymous can call Kauai Crime Stoppers at 246-8300.
